DID YOU JUST GET BRACES RECENTLY? HERE ARE MY BIGGEST TIPS TO AVOID BROKEN BRACES
1. AVOID ANYTHING STICKY. GUMMY. OR CHEWY! ESPECIALLY IF YOU JUST GOT YOUR BRACES ON. BECAUSE YOU AREN'T USED TO THEM YET AND THE INITIAL WIRES ARE VERY FLIMSY AND CAN POP OUT OF THE BACK BRACES EASIER.
2. AVOID CRUNCHY BREAD OR COOKIES LIKE: ANYTHING TOASTED, PIZZA CRUST, BISCOTTI ETC
3. DON'T PICK OR PLAY WITH YOUR BRACES
4. BITING ON YOUR FINGERNAILS
5. USING YOUR TEETH TO OPEN STUFF (LIKE BOTTLES OR BAGS OF CHIPS)
