Ingredients for bread kheer:
Bread (whole wheat/white) - 4 slices;
Milk - skimmed/2%/whole/half n half (depending on your preference), 2 cups;
Sugar - between quarter to half a cup, depending on your taste;
Green cardamon - 1 no.; crushed/powdered;
Ghee/clarified butter - 1 tbsp for toasting bread crumps, 1 tsp for toasting almonds;
Almonds or other nuts n drt fruits to garnish.
