Making Movies: KUTX Live in Studio 6A SXSW 2022

Formed in Kansas City, Mo., Making Movies is an international rock band known for its Latinx activism in the United States and abroad. They collaborated with Panamanian superstar Rubén Blades to release the 2019 Latin Grammy-nominated album of the year “Ameri'kana,” mixing powerful statements on immigration and identity with Afro-Latino rhythms and psychedelic rock ‘n’ roll.
