Confidence is a skill - it can be learnt. This is probably the single most important thing that everyone that lacks confidence needs to know. You have surely learnt a new skill in your lifetime. Think about it: swimming, driving, reading, playing sport and even googling your favourite Youtube vids is a SKILL. You were not born knowing how to do these, but after repeating an action over and over you will able to gain confidence in the skill of doing these things and we do it automatically!

In this video I give you my 3 steps (which I used as well), to gain confidence so that I can move in the direction of my dreams :)

1) Recognize that you already know what confidence feel like because we are all confident at different things. You may not be confident in talking to large crowds, but you may have heaps of confidence in your baking skills. This means you already know what confidence feels like and you now have to learn to align it to something that you really want.

2) Confidence, like any skill, takes time - and commitment. See yourself as an athlete would, you need to flex your mental muscle in order to gain confidence! Here are the two ways to become mentally fit (a) affirmations and (b) visualizations.

3) Connect to a tribe of people that will inspire you to fulfill your goals. If you practicing the skill of confidence, don't let people who lack it hold you back.
