Brittany Zamora is a former sixth-grade teacher who has been convicted of sexual abuse for having sex with her 13-year-old student. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison, Friday. Her lawyer, Belen Olmedo Guerra, spoke to the media after the sentencing hearing. She defended her client saying Brittany is not a monster and that, "this was not between a young child and Brittany, this was a teenager."
