The Conqueror Mk II is a heavy SPG project based on a tank with an 183 mm gun, a rotating turret and a rear combat compartment. The vehicle was designed to meet Soviet heavy tanks at long range (up to 1,829 m) and could withstand retaliatory shots of 122 mm guns at ranges up to 500 m. After the development of the 193 mm Malkara anti-tank rockets, which were cheaper and more effective in countering IS-series tanks, the vehicle lost its meaning.
