Today, the Locomotive Services Group ran a very special private charter service from London Kings Cross to York, to celebrate the return of LNER A2 Class 60532 ‘Blue Peter’ to the mainline, after being out of action for over 20 years. It was an absolutely fantastic sight to see I must say. It was great to see all the people who came out to celebrate the return of this beautiful machine. Also seen is 57311 tailing on the rear.
