The Difference Between Hangouts and Hangouts on Air

Both Hangouts and Hangouts on Air are video conferencing calls. The main difference is that hangouts (or hangout video calls) are private and only the people that have been invited know about them. Hangouts on Air are streamed live to YouTube, your Google+ profile and anywhere else you embed the code.
