A documentary filmed between November 2022 and February 2023 about the 823rd Atherstone Ball Game, an ancient tradition played out every Shrove Tuesday in the small town of Atherstone, North Warwickshire, England.
The film focuses on what the game means to the town, from former winners and legends of the game to current contenders, pub landlords and game organisers, including a look at the ball being hand-crafted.
