Updates 2020 for Peugeot 208, Peugeot 308 & Peugeot 508:



The Peugeot e208 is a variant of the 208. Some additional tests and checks have been done to ensure that the rating of the 208, tested in 2019, applies to the electric variant. Euro NCAP performs a series of crash and safety tests on car models:
- a frontal impact test, the car impacts a rigid barrier
- an offset frontal impact test, 40% of the width of the car is striking a deformable barrier
- a pole test, the tested car is propelled sideways into a rigid pole
- a side impact test, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door.
A series of pedestrian tests are conducted with different impactors, adult and child head form, lower and upper leg form and whiplash tests are performed on a sled.
Active safety is tested based on the car’s equipment: autonomous emergency braking systems (car to car, with a pedestrian and a cyclist target), lane support and speed assist technologies and seatbelt reminders.

The Peugeot 3008 Hybrid4 is a variant of the 3008. Some additional tests and checks have been done to ensure that the rating of the 3008, tested in 2016, applies to the electric variant.
Euro NCAP performs a series of crash and safety tests on car models:
A Frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the Full Width test, 100% of the width of the car impacts a rigid barrier at 50 Km/h. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 32 km/h into a rigid pole.
