Kevin De Bruyne cut a disgruntled figure in Dusseldorf on Monday evening.
The Belgium midfielder's side had just lost late on to France in the Round of 16 at Euro 2024.
Jan Vertonghen's 85th-minute own goal put France through to play a quarter-final against Portugal.
Post-match, De Bruyne was asked by a journalist whether it hurt that Belgian's "golden generation" had never reached a major final.
The Manchester City player appeared annoyed at the concept only being applied to Belgium, and highlighted other countries, before he was heard to mutter the word "stupid" as he left the media zone.
