The factory GM front sway bar is notorious for cracking and failing on W-body cars such as the Buick Regal/LaCrosse/Century, Chevy Impala/Monte Carlo, Olds Intrigue and Pontiac Grand Prix. I replaced the damaged & rendered useless front sway bar on my 2007 easily while not having to lower the sub-frame for removal/re-installation the sway bar itself like many do. Completed this DIY in about 90 minutes while saving myself roughly $250 over shop prices.
