PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti along with her supporters were detained in Delhi during a protest against ongoing Anti-encroachment drive in Jammu and Kashmir. Regional parties of Kashmir have been criticising the government for creating 'homelessness' by way of the drive. The government has been insisting that the drive is not against the poor but against influential people who have grabbed the land.
