Flavia Schlegel, Assistant Director-General for Natural Sciences of UNESCO, at the opening session of the WWDR 2018 Information Briefing, organized at UNESCO HQ on 3 April 2018, thanks the World Water Assessment Programme and the UN entities and partners who have collaborated in the production of the World Water Development Report through UN-Water, as a clear example of delivering as one. She declares that the WWDR produced by WWAP is well recognized when it comes to reporting and assessment on freshwater resources.
