On our final evening in Siskiyou County, we traveled to McCloud and hiked to the McCloud River Middle Falls. It was a gorgeous sight to see as we glimpse down at the middle falls and took in the beautiful landscape. Although we were unable to walk to the upper falls, we were able to capture drone footage of the McCloud Upper Falls location. The next morning we traveled a few miles north back to Mt. Shasta and checked out a cafe called "Seven Suns Coffee and Cafe." This spot has a variety of breakfast and snack options including a crunchy, yet satisfying, dose of crickets! Yes, it's called CrickEats! When I asked the staff at Seven Suns, which was a popular option for breakfast, they recommended the Veggie Wrap. Of course, as I tend to do, I go with recommendations. I was pleased to enjoy the Veggie Wrap so much, I even go as far to say, this is probably the best Veggie wrap I've ever tried. In the video, I called it a Veggie Burrito, but you know what I mean. potatoes, patatoes. After this brunch, we traveled back to Dunsmuir to check out what locals say is a must-visit spot when coming to this area. A secret spot with secret instructions that is shared with locals and tourists alike.....not necessarily a secret anymore, but getting there does take some leg work and instructions. Ask locals around town when visiting and they'll point you to Mossbrae Falls. Getting there is a journey on its own! I hope you enjoy the video.
