Survivor Season 40 Episode 3 is all wrapped up and we got to see our first real splash of intricate game play. We know everyone is already a winner and tonight that really showed.

Edge of extinction is really interesting to me this season. So far it has added three wildcard powers into the game that should start impacting the game really soon. Natalie has been the person to deliver all those powers into the game and now has amassed 3 fire tokens for herself.

Dakal once again won immunity and sends Sele back to tribal council. I really wished we would have got to watch all the members of Sele tribe interacting after their lose longer because it was fantastic. We saw a locked in plan to vote out Parvati, which Adam then explicitly told Ethan and Rob about, and then saw the tribe flip on Adam before walking off to tribal council. Then somehow the votes come down and we see Ethan heading to Edge of Extinction. Crazy little bit of game play right there.

This season is fantastic so far and I find I'm really invested and engaged in all of the game play. Can't wait to see how this season plays out, especially once we start seeing twists and powers in play.
