In this video, we will focus on speaking the ten basic vowels of the Korean Alphabet, Hangul, “ㅏㅑㅓㅕㅗㅛㅜㅠ ㅡ ㅣ”
Please focus on what sound each vowel has and how it looks.
It is much easier for you to sing the song to memorize the sound of each vowel.
Also, it is fun to personify each vowel like the gentleman like our illustration in the same way we personified each consonant like a lady in our consonant alphabet song video.
For example, you can call ‘ㅣ’ Mr. EE.
Any vowels can be placed after a consonant to make a Korean syllable just like when a lady meets a gentleman to make a female and male couple.
In our next video, we will show you how to write Korean syllables. Each syllable will be personified as a female and male couple.
Please stay with us to learn Hangul in a fun and exciting way! We hope you enjoy the video.
