LONG BEACH, Calif., May 5 (KNN) — Gunfire erupted at a nightclub leaving at least seven people wounded in the city of Long Beach late Saturday night.
The Long Beach Police Department and fire department received several calls around 11:15 p.m. regarding a shooting reportedly at Prendido De Noche Nightclub in the 2600 block of East South Street.
Officers and Long Beach firefighters responded to the area of South Street and Paramount Boulevard and located multiple gunshot victims upon arrival at the location.
Allison Gallagher, Executive Communications Officer for the Long Beach Police Department, briefed KNN on-camera regarding the shooting incident. Gallagher said that at this time, they are aware of approximately seven victims who all sustained gunshot wounds.
