I get a lot of emails and messages about this...drummers that can drum softly but can't drum loud. Or, drummers that sound great loud but can't play anything on a drum softly. It's a drum discussion that is near and dear to my heart...because it's something that I struggled with years ago.

What about you? Are you better at drumming loudly or drumming softly?

For me, it's all about being a DYNAMIC drummer. Being able to do both at any given moment. I feel it's the most under utilized drumming tool out there.
