Lilah had suffered with jaw popping and jaw pain for 4 years which worsened and became constant after a wisdom tooth was removed. The oral surgeon did not have any ideas why she had that jaw pain. She was also managing her chronic headaches, neck pain and shoulder pain for 5 years diagnosed as Occipital Neuralgia with medications, physical therapy and massage. Her fatigue and racing heart rate was diagnosed as P.O.T.S.

Lilah initially saw Dr Raman for the facial pain to see if he can diagnose the cause of her unrelenting pain. His clinical examination confirmed that she had jaw alignment problem and that is the likely root cause of her symptoms even beyond the jaw.

Lilah went through detailed diagnostic tests including our unique "Raman CCMD Protocol" of Physiologic Neuro Muscular Dental (PNMD) procedure to determine the optimal jaw and neck alignment. Balance test revealed that her postural compensations were primarily due to the jaw alignment. So that linked her jaw problem to whole body symptoms such as fatigue and heart rate changes. She was then fitted with a neuromuscular fixed orthotic for 90 days as a reversible phase 1 treatment. This is both a therapeutic and diagnostic step.

Within the first week of Phase 1 Fixed orthotic, her symptoms were improving significantly. Her facial pain resolved immediately. She had more energy when she woke up and her headaches improved also. By 3 months, most of her symptoms were resolved even more. Her sleep improved. She was able to eat normally. Her jaw pain with chewing was resolved 100%. She even had huge improvement in her pulse rate that used to race up – diagnosed as P.O.T.S.

Lilah was extremely surprised to experience improvement of her symptoms so quickly. She learned that poor jaw / neck alignment was the root cause of so many symptoms that robbed her quality of life. She is amazed how much that PNMD had improved her quality of life so quickly too!
