If you are already on the journey of adoption parenting or thinking of embarking on the adoption parenting journey, this video will help you understand what the adopted child is going through to help you support them. This in turn will help the the relationship between you and your adopted child grow with trust and closeness.

Parenting can be tricky at the best of times, but an adopted child has a particular set of issues they are dealing with that can make the journey that bit more complicated and painful. If you are aware of what to expect it can make things a little easier to navigate.

I am an adoptee, psychotherapist and adoptee wellbeing researcher and my hope is that my experience and findings will help your journey in some way.
