Greetings! Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is one of the five grand palaces built during the Joseon Dynasty in Seoul. Like many other historic structures in Korea, majority of the buildings in the palace have been destroyed during the period of Japanese occupation. The current time Gyeongbokgung Palace was gradually restored since the 1990s according the original design. I had the opportunity to tour the palace on a beautiful sunny day in the fall.
