How to reach, Diveagar beach? (Wasn't that a rhyme... haha)

Diveagar is located in the coastal region of Maharashtra, in the Raigad district. From Panvel, Diveagar beach is just 146 km, hardly a three and half hour drive and from Pune, it is just 160 km which takes four and half hours of driving time if you follow the road from Mulshi or Tamhini Ghat. However, if you are coming from Khopoli or Khalapur road then the distance to Diveagar beach becomes 215 km and it takes five and half hours to reach Diveagar.

What you will see here?

Diveagar has got prolonged historical heritage. However, it never came as a highlight until a few recent years. There are mainly three temples that will prove this richness of the culture, living, and art. Gold Ganesh temple has a gold idol of Lord Ganesh which was found in a coconut orchard. The second temple is of Lord Kedarbhairav which again has a history that goes back to the 16th century. And lastly, the Rupnarayan and Sundarnarayan temples showcase the richness of art, the advanced civilization of history, the trade route of Diveagar, and a few facts about history which trace back to the 8th century.
Along with this, you get to experience a very clean, exotic, less crowded, and fresh Diveagar Beach. There are several watersports and recreational provisions made on the beach which you can enjoy with your family and loved ones. There are many resorts and stays available here which you can avail yourself of as per your need and pocket.

What more you will get to see here?

If you are planning a long trip, start it from Alibaug and slowly travel downward towards the south that is towards Hari Hareshwar. On a way you can enjoy Alibaug beaches and its Colaba Fort, next will be Padmadurg Fort, Murud Fort, Agardanda to Dighi Jungle Jetty Ferry Service in which you can travel along with your vehicles, Velas beach which is 1-2 km away from Diveagar, Shrivardhan Port, And the last destination would be Hari Hareshwar. Of course, you could travel further too towards the Mahad region and explore a few more destinations.
