'Gringe,' combining 'cringe' with the G from 'gender,' is the embarrassment felt when people buy into gender stereotypes. The #NoMoreGringe campaign, launched on social media platforms in Ukraine in April 2021, asked young influencers to challenge stereotypes about women and men.
The video campaign was produced in Ukraine by Biasless as part of the “EU 4 Gender Equality: Together Against Gender Stereotypes and Gender-Based Violence” programme, funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented jointly by UN Women and UNFPA.
