Dee Dee became ‘contractor’ for the group, then called ‘Dee Dee’s Girls’. "We’d sing from 2 in the afternoon until 5 or 6 in the morning, going from session to session to session."

Dee Dee Warwick has recorded background vocals for over 400 songs, as well as thousands of demos for other singers. In her solo career, she released 5 albums ('I Want To Be With You / I'm Gonna Make You Love Me', 'Foolish Fool', 'Turning Around', 'Dee Dee' and 'Call Me'), where she sang over 100 songs.

At various times, the backing vocal group included: Dee Dee Warwick, Dionne Warwick, Cissy Houston, Sylvia Shemwell, Estelle Brown, Myrna Smith, Doris Troy, Jackie Verdell and Judy Clay.
