I definitely love ukrainian language! - This is an old story, as it started when I was about 8... :) So, when I've been asked, a few weeks ago, to sing another Ukrainian song, I did not hesitate!
I'm a big fan of Vakarchuk's works - this is also a "quite old" story... :)))
According to me, this song is one of the most beautiful he ever wrote. The music is just amazing with that lovely "ukrainian touch" and words are so... Well. Even in french (my mother tongue), I can't express how much they move me...
Anyway! If the text is of a man for a woman, I've decided to make use of his words to declare to Ukraine how much I love her! :)
