Spinach Dal/ Palak Dal is a very simple, healthy and comforting sidedish which goes very well with Rice as well as roti.

Toor Dal- 1cup
Palak- 2 cups
Onion- 1 small sized
Tomato- 1 small sized
Green chilli- 2
Garlic-Optional
Tamarind juice- 2-3 spoons
Turmeric, Salt and Oil
For tempering
Oil
Mustard
Jeera
Urad dal
Hing
Dry chillies
