A brief glimpse of Falmouth in December 1943 when American troops embarked for the first of their D-Day exercises called Exercise Duck. The vehicles embarked from 28th December with the troops seen here embarking on Friday 31st December at the Prince of Wales Pier with troops receiving handouts as they crossed the Moor.
