Building a gas forge. I built this forge this awhile back but never got around to editing it. So finally here it is!
**BUILD EDIT** Originally I used the square plug with a 1/16th inch hole drilled through it for the burner orifice. The hole was too big and wasn’t producing a good burn. So I redrilled and tapped the plug to hold the .03 MIG tip. Problem solved!
Parts list:
20PSI Propane Regulator
3/8" FL x 1/4 MIP union (to adapt regulator output to 1/4”)
1/4" elbow
1/4" Ball Valve
1/4" x 2" nipple
1/4” coupling
1/4" square head plug (to test for leaks then drill and tap for burner orifice)
**.03 MIG welding tip
1 1/4" to 3/4" steel reducer
1" to 3/4" steel reducer
8" section of 3/4" steel threaded pipe
