I mean, this is nothing new. As handmade sellers we need to be relying less on Etsy. I've always said "never put all your eggs into the Etsy basket" and with the recent star seller badge announcement, this advise has never been more apt.
So in today's video I'm talking a little about why we as handmade sellers really need to stop thinking about building something away from Etsy and actually start doing it. That's easy enough to know, but HOW?
Well going forward I will be sharing more diverse content with you all here, focusing not just on Etsy (because this will still be a big deal for many of us) but also on the other ways we can diversify our handmade businesses and make them a little more future-proof... and maybe too, Etsy-proof. Someone put that on a t-shirt for me!
