Vic Verdier travels the world teaching people the principles of MovNat, a fitness system based on natural human movement skills such as walking, running, jumping, balancing, crawling, climbing, swimming, lifting, carrying, throwing, catching and fighting. The idea is that in re-learning how to move in a natural way, in a natural environment, humans can develop a very high level of all-round fitness that is applicable to any area of life.
Vic contrasts MovNat to gym based fitness programmes that isolate and work on one part of the body at a time, using one-size-fits-all machines, which are therefore, he says, much less efficient.
