Lacey and I with our friend Mila went up to Canyon Lake on this trip. We rested at the lake where Mila went home as she was just doing a day hike and out plan was to camp. We advanced up onto the Wyant Lake bench / basin area. The larches are starting to turn. As I'm uploading this we just got back from a trip in the bitterroot while the larch trees were at peak color in an area I'm going to name "LARCH HEAVEN".
