Hello this video is about schooling system in Germany. I have explained German schooling system because it is important to understand it to determine where you qualify or not for Ausbildung in Germany which is also knows as Vocational training.

First of all There is a kindergarten in German which is knows as play group in many countries this is not mandatory but parents has option to send kids to kindergarten or not. The second thing is Primary school in Germany, from age 6 this is mandatory to send kids to school by parents. Primary school runs between grade 1 to grade 6 depends on which state you are in.

Starting from secondary school there are 2 types initially

1. Hauptschule will allow to study till grade 9 or 10 this hauptschullabschluss certificate will allow you to enter vocational training college.

2. Realschule will allow to study till grade 10 and this qualification is also valid to enter technical college or vocational training college.

3. Gymnasium or Abitur will allow you to study till grade 12 or 13. This leads to university entrance qualification which allows you to study at university level

There is another school which is comprehensive school also knows as Gesamtschule in Germany also runs between 5 grade to grade 13 and takes all abilities levels. But this school is not in every state in Germany.

In short with all three of one of three qualifications you can enter vocational training colleges in Germany you need to look which qualifications they are asking for then check where you have studies till that grade or not.

What is mittlere reife or medium maturity?

Mittlere reife or medium maturity refers to Realschulabschluss or matriculation in countries like India or Pakistan.
