Following a recall of over 85,000 vehicles in global markets except for China, Kia Motors Corp. vice chairman Chung Sung-eun resigned; President Lee Hyoung-keun was promoted as Sung-eun's successor. Kia has recalled 85,900 Soul and Sorento sport-utility vehicles, the Cadenza sedan and the Borego SUV. The recalls are reportedly due to faulty electric wiring in the vehicles.
