History 1976-1981:
The Suzuki RM100 is a motocross bike produced by Suzuki from 1976 to 1981.
Back in the day, the RM100 was actually a RM125 chassis with a 100cc engine.
It had an 98cc air-cooled 2-stroke single-cylinder, reed valve engine.
The maximum power output was 19,5 hp at 10.500 rpm, the maximum torque output was 13 Nm.
It had oil damped telescopicfront forks, and gas/oil damped rear shocks.
The brakes were mechanical drum type in the front and rear.
History 2003:
In 2003 Suzuki came up with their RM100 again.
22 year´s after they quit producing their 100cc mini racer.
But if you take a look at the 2003 RM100, you will recognize that it is just a Kawasaki KX100 with yellow plastics and suzuki logos as part of the Kawasaki-Suzuki alliance.
They did the same with the 2003 RM60 wich is a KX60, the RM65 wich is a KX65 and the RM85 wich is a KX85.
