Here's an improvisation using Meade 'Lux' Lewis's left hand pattern from his famous and influential "Yancey Special", which was in tribute to the great Jimmy Yancey, whom he idolized as a younger lad in early 1920s Chicago.
Here, I'm mostly just messing around, but trying to stay relaxed and find some of that understated beauty which I find so irresistible in Jimmy Yancey's playing.
