The Parable of the Net

One day, Jesus told a story about some fishermen with a very big net.
They went out on their boat and threw the net into the deep blue lake.
The net spread wide in the water, ready to catch fish.
The fishermen waited patiently for a good catch.

Soon, it was time to pull the net in.
They tugged and pulled with all their might.
The net was heavy and full of fish!
Fish of all shapes, sizes, and colours filled the net.
The fishermen were happy to see so many fish.

Back on the shore, the fishermen began to sort the fish.
It didn't matter what they looked like but if they were good.
They picked out the good, healthy fish and put them into baskets.
But the bad, unhealthy fish they threw away.

Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven is like the net full of fish.
God loves everyone, just like the net catches all types of fish.
But, one day, God will sort out the good from the bad.
Jesus knew we all do things wrong and can't be perfect.
But He lived a perfect life and took our mistakes so we can be made good with God.
