Kawajiri Fude is one of four major brands of traditional calligraphy brush in Japan. Typically, several craftspeople took part in the making of a fude (calligraphy brush).
On the other hand, since the Edo Period, fude artisans in Kawajiri have involved themselves in an entire fude-making process, and this is why Kawajiri Fude has been known for its excellent quality and perfection.
