Hey hey y'all! Today's video is a much requested canning basics video for you. In this video we are talking about how to waterbath can and the basics to get started. Let me share with you the knowledge my Mamaw shared with me.

Watermelon Jelly:
4 cups watermelon juice
4 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 boxes orginal powdered pectin

heat all ingredients to a boil, boil for 1 minute, makes 7 half pint jelly jars, process in water bath 10 minutes

ADJUSTING FOR ALTITUDE
Increase Processing Time

1,001- 3,000 5 additional minutes

3,001- 6,000 10 additional minutes

6,001- 8,000 15 additional minutes

8,001-10,000 20 additional minutes
