Domus Academy students Kan Sivapuchpong, Kueihan Yang, Apraijita Sabhrwal and Hyeji Kwon of the Master in Interior & Living Design completed the LinkedIn project within the FOOD S-TILE workshop in collaboration with Mutina, which aimed to rethink and redesign the traditional spaces for street food, exploring the relationship between food tradition and local craftsmanship in the use of materials and processes of production. Conceiving both food and artisan craftsmanship as precious expression of cultural biodiversity, the project will challenge students’ capability to envision new and contemporary micro-architectures for preparing and serving local food from different cultures in different locations across Milan, during the Expo period.
