In 2012 Donna Thistlethwaite fell 40 meters into the freezing cold waters below the River City’s own Story Bridge. This was not an accident, Donna was attempting to take her own life. However this was not meant to be the end of her story, instead this was the beginning of the rest of her life. Through reasons that defy all odds, Donna survived this fall… and her story is one of inspiration and hope.
Since her attempt, Donna has become an Inspirational Speaker speaking on the importance of Mental Health and detailing her story in the hope that it will help anyone going through a crisis.
