This little adventure was a total learning experience. Replacing Kiesel pickups in my Carvin CS Gold Top w/ a set of Dough Aldrich Suhr Pickups is all documented here. The Carvin/Kiesel wire colors are NOT the same as Seymour Duncan or Suhr pickups. You also need to route the pickup cavity to fit standard pickup manufactures. The 2nd half of the video is my 1st play through on this amazing Doug Aldrich set!!! High quality, very detailed, tons of Sustain & not overly HOT in my eyes Pickups. The dynamics when rolling down the volume is spectacular.
