We just love these Chicken, Cheese & Mayo Pies! I think you will too! Especially for Iftar in Ramadan! So creamy & tangy, they are just the tastiest food to eat while breaking fast! The creamy texture inside is made with Mayonnaise – I’m sure everyone has it in their kitchen, so give it a go and let me know what you think! #IftarWithMe #CookWithMe

Ingredients 👇
300 grams Chicken cut into small chunks
40 grams Butter
1 tsp Ginger and garlic paste
1 tsp Chilli paste
1 tsp Coriander and cumin powder
1 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Mixed herbs
Salt to taste
3 tbsp Sweetcorn
1 tbsp Red pepper
1 tbsp Spring onion
1 tbsp Jalapeño
1 tbsp Coriander chopped
4 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 cup grated cheese
1 beaten egg
Sesame seeds or poppy seeds
Puff pastry sheets
Method 👇
In a preheated pan, melt butter, add in the cubed chicken pieces, ginger & garlic paste, chilli paste, coriander & cumin powder, black pepper and mixed herbs.
Cook on medium heat till little moisture is left in the chicken
Sprinkle over some salt, add in sweetcorn, red pepper, jalapeños, spring onions and chopped coriander. Stir and leave aside till cool.
Once mixture has cooled down. Stir in @hellmannsuk Mayonnaise and cheese. Give it a mix.
Fill your pastry sheets. I used 4 x 4 inch squares. I fold them into triangles. You can also fold into rectangles.
Brush the edges of the pastries with beaten egg, and press down the edges gently. Eggwash the pastries and sprinkle over sesame seeds.
Bake on 190 degrees for 25 mins or till golden.
Enjoy with @hellmannsuk Ketchup and Mayonnaise dip. 😋
