Bala is an Action oriented Tamil Movie. Shaam is the favourite hit man of gangster Rajan P Dev. He falls in love with Meera Jasmine at first sight who is the daughter of Raghuvaran, a rival gangster. Ailing don Thilakan, mentor of the two rivals, seeing his proteges at each other's throats, brings a compromise by suggesting that Meera Jasmine be married to Rajan's son. Shaam finds himself hunted by both the camps.
