Y'all ever just ever just hop into a single player survival world and progress through the game while listening to some good ass music? Because same.

Man this one really hit me with nostalgia. Minecraft was just one of those games that I grew up with, and sometimes I still play it today, because the game has held up for this long. There's not that many games like that out there!
I knew I wanted to do an arrangement of some song from this game, and realized that Stal would be perfect! I stayed fairly true to the original with this one, just adding in more layers with the melodies and backgrounds to really capture those jazz combo vibes. The laid-back swing really makes the tune have that nice old feeling, like when you start playing jazz in middle school, where most tunes we play would just be medium swing blues. So I implemented that feeling by having the solo section be a 12-bar minor blues (and some pretty basic blues backgrounds during the bari solo, haha).
This was a very fun one to work on, as the arranging took only 4 hours, recording took around 10 hours, and editing took around 6 hours. The more I do these things, the more improvement I am noticing, not only in terms of quality, but as well as work ethic and efficiency. I think the more I do these projects, the faster I may get at producing, and hopefully some time soon I'll be able to have a much more consistent upload schedule that is frequent enough that I am bringing out good amounts of content, but long enough that I'm not over here losing my mind!
And yes, that's me hitting the back of a guitar to serve as congas lol.

Feel free to give any constructive criticism! I’m not the greatest in the world, so letting me know how I can improve helps! (whether it’s about my playing, arranging, recording, mixing, editing, etc.)
