The conservative party is demanding the withdrawal of the president's pick for justice minister Cho Kuk,... a former presidential secretary.
They claim Cho is unfit for the position,... pointing to allegations of fraud and real estate law violations involving him and his family, as well as fresh complaints that Cho's daughter received preferential academic treatment.
The Liberty Korea Party is also calling on the government to review its decision to pull out of a joint military intel-sharing pact with Japan,... saying it will have serious implications for Seoul's security cooperation with the U.S.
