What is the difference between “Auto focus” and “Macro” modes of focus
Macro focus Also known as Macro close-up .

AF- Auto focus
Use when the distance from the subject to the lens is 50 cm (1ft 8in.) or more, or 2.0 m (6ft 7in ) or more at the maximum telephoto zoom position .
Macro close-up
Set when talking close up picture .
When the zoom ratio is set to a position where macro and the zoom indicator are displayed in green ,the camera can focus on subjects as close as approximately 10cm (4in) from the lens . When the zoom is at a position more wide angled than where triangle is displayed ,the camera can focus on subjects as close as approximately 1 cm(0.4 in ) from the lens .
