Schmidt & Heinzmann GmbH has seen first-hand the durability of the HPC HOLEX solid carbide slot drill. In this stainless steel component (X2CrNi18-9 / 1.4307 with rolling skin), the solid carbide slot drill achieves a tool life of 156 m on a LAGUN GCM8. The mill is clamped in an SK50 Weldon chuck.
