As heard in the Fallout: New Vegas base game in the Gomorrah casino lobby or on the radio in the Mysterious Broadcast as part of the Old World Blues DLC.


The tape box indicates the original title given by CBS was "Modern Jazz (Blues)" along with similarly titled Modern Jazz tracks. The tape emits a high-frequency test tone at the beginning of the reel and features spoken introductions not present on the LP.

-Technical Info-
Reel to reel tape appears to be quarter inch full-track mono. Does not appear to be half-width, two track, or stereo since music plays backwards when flipped around. Original LP record indicates mono release based on Columbia Records XTV matrix code.

Full width mono magnetic tape would have been suitable for TV broadcast quality (such as for CBS) in the 1960s.

Recorded using the Wollensak 1500 at 7.5 IPS, a monophonic tape recorder produced during the 1956-1967 time period.
