Here is a video on servicing Oneup component aluminum pedals. It might seem trivial, but pedals have to be the most neglected part of a bike. Most people I know don't even know their pedals are serviceable. It's worth your time to open them up at least once a year and apply a fresh coat of grease in them, as well as check the bearings for wear.
